Flinders, the 4x4 canvas roof tent from ARB

The Flinders roof tent is an improved version of the Simpson III, taking up little space on your vehicle. The name comes from the Flinders mountain range in Australia, a famous 4x4 spot.

Unfolding the ladder is simple. Once the PVC protection is removed, pull the ladder and deploy the telescopic legs. Once in position, all you have to do is enjoy!

Enhanced features

The new Flinders rooftop tent is 10cm lower than its big brother the Simspon III, measuring 20cm high without the ladder and 30cm if you leave the ladder on the roof. Theladder is removable, so you can take it out at your convenience. The reduced size limits the wind load and improves theaerodynamics of the vehicle, of the 4x4 while driving: less pollution, less consumption, less noise. The compact aspect of the roof tent allows to leave sleeping bags or pillows.

The PVC cover stays attached to the tent when deployed, no more need for a storage space to store it. You save efficiency, stress and space! 

A comfortable and spacious interior

Small and compact from the outside, but 20% more volume than the Simpson III roof tent!

The mattress is 2400mm (2.4m) long and 1400mm (1.4m) wide, with a ceiling height of 1200mm (1.2m) in the middle of the tent. 

To take in the view and the surrounding scenery, the ARB Flinders Rooftop Tent has five zippered windows with double mesh screens on each window. The fifth window is similar to a skylight, and is located on the roof. The perfect feature to marvel at on starry nights!
The side windows are equipped with awnings to protect the interior and the mattress from various weather conditions. Also, to improve your night, the tent has an extra specific ventilation to ensure air circulation during the night, and to reduce condensation and humidity. 

You have no battery on your phone? Your e-reader needs to be plugged in? Don't worry, the ARB Flinders roof tent comes with an interior light, a 12V cigarette lighter socket and two USB ports .

• 300g/m2 poly/cotton canvas and 420D polyester Oxford fabric for roof and window awnings, all of which are ultra durable and tear-resistant. UV resistant and mildew resistant coating to improve the longevity of the tent

• External protection in resistant PVC of 600g/m2.
