The fuel tank is made from a specially formulated cross-linked polymer to ensure strength and durability. The specially formulated polymer is impact resistant, flexible and UV resistant. Without compromising strength, the polymer also offers a weight savings of 30-50% over an equivalent steel tank. This makes the ARB fuel tank easier to maneuver for quick installation.
The rotational molding (rotational molding) process eliminates fouling or welding in the tank body. With a wall thickness of 7-9mm, the fuel is protected from the elements for sure.
As an alternative to the original fuel tank, the ARB fuel tank uses quality hardware accessories. Mounting straps attach directly to existing vehicle mounts and an ARB manufactured pump plate accommodates the existing fuel module.
