The extension kit for VW T6.1 includes :

• Longer, stronger front axle springs
• Longer, stronger rear axle springs
• Reinforced top plates for rear axle springs

Depending on engine and equipment, this extension offers an increase in ride height from approx. 25 to approx. 35 mm. The kit comes with a TÜV parts certificate. It is essential to have correct installation confirmed by an approved testing organization. You can always use original Volkswagen shock absorbers. However, on vehicles equipped with adaptive suspension, the DCC function may need to be deactivated.

On fully-equipped vehicles, with DSG transmission or long wheelbase, the lift can be significantly reduced due to the additional weight on the front axle. We therefore recommend our adjustable suspension kit (item TA-T6-102-60), which also allows significant height adjustment at the front.

** Technical advice :

We generally recommend using the Reinforced Spring Wedge between the semi-support arm and the rear axle springs (item: A-T5-106-F-Gum-bottom).

For vehicles with all-wheel drive (4motion), we also recommend installing the rear differential spacer kit (item: TA-T6-106-D-Kit-Diff).
